Rooted in the North.
A quieter truth.
About the Artist
I’m a Swedish artist shaped by the landscapes of the North.

I grew up in a small village in northern Sweden, where nature was constant and ever-present. In that environment, there is less noise. Less separation. You notice things differently. Even those who have passed remain present in a quiet way.

That sense of presence continues to define my work.

"
At the core of my work is a simple idea: That humans and nature are not separate. Coexistence is not something lost—but something we have forgotten how to recognize.

A Different Perspective

What we see is rarely just what is there.
It is also what we have been taught to see.
My paintings often hold a quiet tension. Animals—especially predators—are often framed as something to fear.
As enemies in stories we learn early and rarely question.
Now, having children of my own, that feels increasingly important to challenge.
My work explores another perspective. One where animals are not defined by fear, but seen as they are—complex, instinctive, and entirely within their right to exist.
What appears threatening may not be.
What feels distant may already be close.
Rather than being purely decorative, each piece is meant to influence the atmosphere of a space.
To bring calm. To create stillness. To invite reflection.
Previous Collections
Earlier work includes the collection It Matters — a series of sculptural plaster paintings inspired by mountain landscapes around the world.
Defined by a modern Scandinavian minimalism, the pieces were created as confident, tactile interior works—valued for their quiet presence and subtle depth.
The collection reflects a simple idea; that life, much like plaster, is only malleable for a limited time—shaped by the choices we make in the present.
